Responsibilities
- Administrating vendor-based trading platform (PnL, risks, export, market data, trade processing, trade booking…)
- Providing local support for traders on the trading floor (or remotely when working from home). Often require liaising with vendor support and European teammates.
- Providing local support for in-house application team related to market data feeds
- Working collaboratively with internal teams (Risk, Compliance, Traders, Technology) and vendors on various project initiatives (e.g. on-boarding new exchange, clearer, trading platform, client apps)
- Working closely with European support team for daily support handover
- Provide training to business traders on Orchestrade
- Weekend work may be required occasionally for project rollouts
Hard Requirements
- Working experience in trading platforms support such as Orchestrade, Murex, Calypso, Summit, Sophis.
- Functional knowledge on financial markets is essential
- Experience in market data application support such as Bloomberg, Reuters will be an added advantage
- Experience with electronic platform (such as TT, TWEB, Fidesssa…) and FIX on-boarding will be an added advantage
- Basic knowledge on Microsoft systems (Windows Server) and networks
- Good communication skills, especially when engaging with different stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure and dealing with constraints
- Strong problem solving skills with ability to identify root causes & long term fixes
- Strong discipline in documentation
